Karina combines 13 years of public relations and communications experience with multifaceted strategic expertise, a finely honed feel for operations, and 360-degree communications outlook.

She has worked in public, governmental, and corporate affairs, in organizations of all sizes, in the health and mental health sectors, and in education and culture. She’s developed a deeper understanding of communications, organizational challenges and political issues on which she advises her customers with a sure hand.

As part of the crisis management unit for the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec—the province’s largest professional order—Karina adroitly positioned the president’s office and the organization’s key concerns for visibility, credibility, public awareness and helped win people’s sympathy for the nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Karina supported the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC)’s move to the Glen site, helping manage perception of the transition by getting the public, staff, and media onboard, boosting its social acceptability. She’s also overseen the development of Société québécoise de la schizophrénie (SQS), an organization that helps people with schizophrenia and their families.

She fosters and sustains a culture of trust and excellence at Exponential Conseil, applying a leadership style that blends a human touch with faultless professional ethics. She helps the team support clients in achieving their business objectives. She steps in to untangle complex issues, always keeping up on the news and emerging trends to make sure her advice is relevant, on strategy and has a lasting impact.

Karina sits of the validation committee for the Community of Practice on Climate Communications in Quebec, founded in 2019.
